Once a year Dudley is allowed a little critique as a treat. Criticism can corrode class solidarity and should be used sparingly; A criticism of the title of The White Pube’s recent book Poor Artists.
All dialectic is inherently critical: thus any class solidarity which you may be "corroding" with your criticism must have been pretty bloody feeble to begin with!😄 Feck knows where this "permanently personally offended left" ever bubbled up from, but not from our own rough-and-tumble class, methinks?
So: no worries there, mo chara. 👍
Damn right:
- precarity is when balancing over the shit-tank
- poverty is when struggling to breathe having actually fallen in.
Huge smelly difference. ((🤢))
Regarding UBI as a privilege for whoever identifies as an artists only🙄 and regarding whoever gets whatever -
"From each according to their ability, to each according to their needs"
- still seems to me as the egalitarian benchmark. Much popularised by Karl Marx but traceable to earlier "utopian" thinkers (Marx never claimed to be the originator, to his credit). ✊
Using Chat GPT to write anti-capitalist polemics really is sticking the ultimate "f#ck off" to the system inasmuch as appropriating "Our Masters' Tools" to help bring them down.
- Love it. "😄"
Salvador Dali an anti racist...?
More like a nasty twisted muthafucka who sucked on murderous fascist dictator Francisco Franco's dick for years and years. Check out his letter to André Breton in 1935.
Having said that: I've always found - and still find - shitloads of inspiration in the original writings of Marx (and Engels) - but I really do NOT like most "Marxists"!
Then again, Marx & Engels are probably history's most criminally misappropriated radicals since one Mr J. Christ of Judea?

That’s very true haha. But Marx I would say is to socialism what Mathew mark Luke and John is to Christianity. And I think it’s seeing him as the source that’s the problem.
And there's the thing: old Karl & Friedrich basically strove to put together a useful toolbox and stuck a load of signposts up for to try to help us all to get on with the job. It was never the intricate roadmap that too many eejits try to make it out to be, because thems were smart enough to grasp that we are ALWAYS ploughing through an ever-shifting political shitescape and constantly need to adapt to interact with it. Ultimately, dialectics self-evidently HAS TO BE thinking for ourselves, and not having our ears constantly preached off by "infallible" theoreticians, and it's that bit which is what too many "Marxists" - sometimes deliberately and egotistically - fail to grasp.
And, yes too - socialism massively predates Marx and Engels; as any "Marxist" will be abundantly informed if they ever even bother to read Marx or Engels!

Great stuff! Much cosmic solidarity! ((🌞))
Yeh thts interesting to hear about Marx. Makes sense. I don’t feel so irked by him as such but by people who see him as the light of the left.
100% Me too!
